Rebound Drama: Voice

I’m starting a new blog series called Rebound Drama. These are the drama’s that I’ll be watching right after a crack drama to ease my withdrawal symptoms. Will these be a new crack drama or will it stay as a rebound drama…only time will tell.

I’m anticipating a MAJOR withdrawal symptom when Goblin ends this week. I’m treating this like a breakup. The best way to get over a kdrama relationship is to start a rebound one. So, I started to give a new drama a try. I watched this as it premiered while waiting for Episode 13 of Goblin. I had to choose between The Naked Fireman, and The Voice at the time. I chose the latter in case 4 episodes of Fireman isn’t enough to help me move on from my soon to be ex- Goblin.  That, and OCN hasn’t disappointed me in the shows that I was able to stream like Vampire Prosecutor, TEN, and TEN 2.

Voice is about Moo Jin-Hyuk (Jang Hyuk)who was a successful detective, but after his wife was murdered, his career went downhill wanting to find the murderer and bring him to justice. Kang Kwon-Joo (Lee Ha-Na) works at the 112 emergency center who happened to hear the the murder of Moo Jin’s wife, and her father who is also searching for the same thing.

So far, I like the premise, but I have already found myself skipping scenes to move on to the next. So much for a rebound drama! I don’t know if I’m going to commit to watching this show until the end since I haven’t seen anything that Lee Ha Na and Jang Hyuk dramas/movies.

Stay tuned.
